Evacuation Alerts lifted; Order remains in place for Munro Lake Wildfire

Peachland/Regional District of Central Okanagan, B.C. – The Evacuation Alerts for the Peachland area have been lifted, with only one address remaining on Evacuation Order due to the Munro Lake Wildfire.

The following address remains on Evacuation Order until further notice:

  • 5875 Brenda Mines Road (ZipZone Adventure Park)

The BC Wildfire Service has classified the wildfire as Held, meaning it is projected, based on fuel and weather conditions and resource availability, to remain within the current perimeter, control line, or boundary. Crews will continue a direct attack, establishing and reinforcing containment lines along the perimeter of this wildfire.
