Westside Road Landslide

In the evening of April 1, Wilson's Landing Fire Department responded to a large mud/debris flow across Westside Road between Main Street and Denison Road.

Central Okanagan, BC – The Central Okanagan Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) is standing down for the Westside Landslide. The site of the landslide continues to be managed by the Ministry of Transportation and Transit.

Additional information on freshet conditions and activities will be reported through the local jurisdictions unless a new emergency situation requires the EOC to activate.
 
Residents should monitor for irregularities, particularly during rainfall events and report landslide or debris flow indicators to the 24-hour provincial toll-free number at 1-800-663-3456 or contact local fire, RCMP, or public works departments.
